The Rye Catchers are a rock band. They love the Rolling Stones, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and heaps of other bands. They have a large swag of original material (2 Albums, "Ridicule" & "Indulgences", 1 EP "Dance Metal" and a couple of singles "Tied Down" & "Crying Tired" to date; mostly released through MGM Distribution), have received a good smattering of airplay on various stations, gig regularly and diligently in Melbourne and through-out regional Victoria and the east-coast, put great energy into their shows and are useful to both drink and dance too. They hail from Ballarat, but don't let that bother them.
