magesongs writes"Magesongs School Of Songwriting is inviting you to sit in one of its classes for free Thursday 10 September at 6PM. This is a visitors special class.

Topic: "Writing for Specialty Markets." We will take a look at a diversity of genres and how songwriters writing for these matkets can become successful. For once, you will have the opportunity to sit with current students, participate sharing your own thoughts, learning tools and techniqunes which current students are paying for.
This class is from a course unique in its structure in the whole Australia. We are extending in Sydney next year starting with a seminar on October 24th 2009 in Sydney. So why not take advantage of a free session?
The lecturer is a multiple award winner songwriter and music publisher affiliated with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, (ASCAP).
It is important that you book if you intend to attend so we can make sure there are enough seats for everyone. The room will have to be r-arrange to accomodate more visitors.

In shooting for the stars, we easily forget about the cloud-filled skies of Melbourne's booming music scene. A scene abundant with venues, independent and major record labels, gig promoters, tour promoters, distribution services and A&R types. Your own town is the first town you should be trying to conquer. Your own state is the first state where you can build a name for yourself.
Having been at the forefront of the Melbourne music scene for over twenty years, we at Beat Magazine recognise the hardship, the trials, the tribulations associated with walking the path of lifting one's band's profile. So we’ve decided to try and help out.
