Bands & Artists : ALISON LIED

alisonlied writes"

Brad Young: Vocals (ex–Game Over)
John Bedggood: Violin, Mandolin (ex-Things of Stone and Wood)
Dan Isenegger: Bass (ex-The Undertow)
Damien Pratt: Drums (ex- Violetine)
Chris Hoy: Guitars (ex-Subpoena)

After the demise of their respective bands, Alison Lied formed in 2002 to play the songs that they have always should have. Taking their varied influences and using them to create an eclectic progressive rock sound which has thrilled audiences, supporting bands such as Blueline Medic, Trial Kennedy, Tiltmeter and Mere Theory to name but a few. Alison Lied’s unique angle of rock music has led them to record a three track EP with Peter ‘Reggie’ Bowman at Scream Louder Productions, which was mastered by Dale Royce at Pound ‘n’Type Productions. They also had their EP on CH31’s BALLYSTIX SNOWBOARDING SHOW in August.

After months of working on their art, Alison Lied is ready to bring it to audiences everywhere, which is what they do best….

"Solid, tight rock-ish feel with layers of violin and mandolin create a different touch to what is an original, loud and energetic performance." Beat Magazine
