Although embracing a punk ethos, The Razor Cartel draw influence from the new wave rock of the early 80’s to create sharp and captivating sound scapes. After the demise of their respective bands, Alison Lied formed in 2002 to play the songs that they have always should have. Taking their varied influences and using them to create an eclectic progressive rock sound which has thrilled audiences, supporting bands such as Blueline Medic, Trial Kennedy, Tiltmeter and Mere Theory to name but a few. Alison Lied’s unique angle of rock music has led them to record a three track EP with Peter ‘Reggie’ Bowman at Scream Louder Productions, which was mastered by Dale Royce at Pound ‘n’Type Productions. They also had their EP on CH31’s BALLYSTIX SNOWBOARDING SHOW in August.

After months of working on their art, Alison Lied is ready to bring it to audiences everywhere, which is what they do best….
