Venues : Red Moon Relaunch!! Australia Day!
prophet69au writes"
RED MOON RELAUNCHES
In the begining of 2006, Red Moon was a 'once off' nightclub in
Caulfield. It was more successful than anticipated, so Red Moon hosted
a second night (Red Moon: The Second Coming), and then a third (Red
Moon: The Unholy Trinity). The nights went so well that Red Moon
secured a deal with the venue to run a weekly night, every Friday night
and it just kept growing, getting bigger and better every week and
eventually outgrew the venue up until the venue was sold and gone.
Due to popular demand we are now back with a vengeance and running
a line of SPECIAL Hard Rock/Heavy Metal nights @ Insignia, cnr of King
St and Flinders St. Red Moon will finally become a MONTHLY event as of
January 2007, on the last Friday of every month.
Red Moon has kept its veteran dj's, so the dj line-up which made Red Moon what it has become are back!! They are:
Dj Ardduc - Where there's fire there's smoke, and where there's
smoke there's Ash! This fun, music luvin warrior loves to interact with
the crowd and plays a BREWtiful set of classic rock, metal and
alternative tracks, even finding room for local artists!
Dj Vampz - Bringing you the best of Black/Death metal, and putting
you in another world.. Viking and Opera metal letting your imagination
run free like Scandanavian myst!
Dj Chris - For the best of Hard Rock to Death metal, this dj leaves
you remeniscent of all the metal greats from the 80's and 90's,
creating an atmosphere taking you back to the older stuff!
Also Red Moon regularly has guest dj's!
