News : Re-Mains tour cancelled after car accident
dirtmusic writes"The Re-Mains ‘Ghan Out West’ Tour Cancelled
The Re-Mains "Ghan Out West" tour through NT, WA and SA has been cancelled after their van hit a cow outside of Tennant Creek. The banjo-slinging bush-rock outfit described by Melbourne’s Age as “ … the finest country rock band in Australia” were at the beginning of their biggest ever, transcontinental Australian tour when the accident happened Two of the band members - Grant and Dave - were airlifted from the scene to Alice Springs Hospital and are both recovering after emergency surgery. Mick, Tom and Phil were relatively uninjured. Their van was written off. The band was heading up to Darwin for their first gig of the tour but was abruptly stopped by the wayward cow. The impact of the collision caused the front seat passengers to suffer broken legs and internal injuries but left the other band members relatively unscathed. On returning to the scene of the accident the next day, lead singer Mick Daley was stunned by what appeared to be sheer luck: “After the impact the van veered through a narrow passage between two stacks of boulders. If we’d hit the rocks, we’d all be dead. No question about it. We are so lucky to be alive.” With the benefit of a generous Australia Council Touring Grant, The Re-Mains were taking the “Ghan Out West” tour across five states, from the Top End of NT, WA, and the Bottom End - the rest of WA, Perth, Adelaide, SA, and back home via Broken Hill and Bourke. They will re-schedule all dates later in the year / early 2008.

Other : jc productionz
Ajc writes"I've put together a special package of 34 professional backing tracks for only $49.50 ,style's include rock, rnb, funk, top 40 and more.
Most of the backing tracks are instrumentals but a few of them also include backing vocals and 3 tracks are with piano backing only which gives you nice variety if you wanna go from one of the full production backing tracks to a more stripped down song which will give your gig a more live feel.
