News : Seeking innovative content/artists for the American market.

dyannah writes"Saddington Studios in association with Australian Centre Of Performing Arts and the Izak Music Group are seeking innovative content/artists (either in scripted format, DVD, Video or an original concept) for the American market. This is not an offer of work or representation as we are acting as an intermediary for entertainment distribution and marketing companies throughout the USA. We cannot guarantee success, as the ultimate decision will depend upon the commercial viability of material sent to our network in America. If the content/artist is considered to be marketable, a formal legal agreement will be entered into, where the artist will be encouraged to seek independent legal representation. Saddington Studios Australian Centre Of Performing Arts and the Izak Music Group are currently developing various concepts in Film / Music / TV and Theatre. For further information, please contact Lindsay Saddington on (03) 9326 9094 or via e-mail:"

News : Lan Party

LanParty writes"

Forever drawing lines in the sand and puzzling their contemporaries with a melting pot of genre hopping, Lan Party have from day one set out to make you dance till you cry and laugh till you sweat. In a live setting the band bombards the audience with a cavalcade of diverse song writing. One can't help but realise the intensity of the technicality involved, not to mention the vocal eccentricities that defy any particular style, yet deliver an intriguing surreal layer to the music. Witnessing a Lan Party show entices not only the ear but assaults visually as a low scale theatre plays out through the performance, making for a mesmerising if not bewildering pantomime.
The groups' members have been working hard behind the scenes honing their craft for close to a decade in various musical groups around Melbourne. Head Lan Party axeman Tim McMillan (previous young guitarist of the year), has recently played for the Secretary of Tibetan Refugee's Association in Kulu Valley India, and has amazed locals in South American caves with his guitar work high on hallucinogenic cane juice.
Mr. Show Business himself, Andrew Howe, while not impersonating elephants and watching Steven Seagal films, has recently supported and subsequently urinated in Pete Murray's shower at an award ceremony held at The Palace. The master of the skins, Dr. John was not only Lead Percussionist in the 2000 Olympics Opening Ceremony, but also enjoys a quiet cup of tea. Second in charge on the axe, the man with no name, Trent Menassa had almost completely ostracised himself from the music community by appearing in several controversial performances in a Melbourne hip hop act that imploded back into the obscurity from whence it came, never to appear live again.
With an E.P/DVD in the works, a national tour on the cards and frequent gigging around Melbourne Lan Party are looking to be one of the most exciting and talented new acts Australia has seen in some time.

Lan Party will be appearing at The Espy Fri 18th and appearing with Chris Wilson at the International Guitar Festival Sun 20th
