ADAT multitrack transfer help needed w V4 Software - Melb

Hello,

I need to digitize an ADAT tape (that's the VHS looking thing) - it's an 8 track multi recorded under v4 software, for a doco I am working on.

Aussie band called Glide, this is an original multi of session demos for their 2nd album.

Have tried a Melb studio but failed as the tape requires an ADAT machine w v4 software. Their machine is stuck at v2.something.... anyone know how to update it?

Likely not, this is 90's gear which is effectively defunct...

Or any leads on an Aussie studio which can help?

If that fails I'll have to send O/S but that seems a bit insane... surely someone in this country has an ADAT machine running v4?

Anyway, thought it was worth a shot here....

Anyway, matter resolved for now.
Sending ADAT to someone in SYD who has a blackface 4.03 machine, and will soon find out if this solves the problem or not!
