hi there,

happy to play covers or originals. i live in east st kilda so happy to practice anywhere that's not ridiculously far.
got good gear and all. i'm also a certified audio engineer (did a course in SAE college some time ago). looking for a good match of personalities within the band. i'm a reliable guy, want to play with like minded people.

see some videos of me playing (I'm the guy with the les paul):

Just meant as an honest review. I didn't watch all of the videos, but I watched a decent few.

If you are on stage, you have to play to the audience. Making eye contact with your fingers is great, who knows, they may hook up with you later that night...

Play to the audience, give them your attention, yeah you can look down when you need to - but you can't just watch the fretboard. But aside from that, nothing bad to say - and if I watched more of your videos, probably plenty good to say - so go and get em Tiger!

Just meant as an honest review of your honest, yet incredibly unnecessary review. He can play how he wants, he can stare at the fretboard all he wishes. He's up there playing guitar, doing his thing. Some people may like that, some audience members don't need their ego stroked by a guitarist staring at them. Ever heard of tall poppy syndrome?

This is not tall poppy syndrome, there is a difference between playing to the bedroom mirror and playing to a crowd, stagecraft go and look it up.

He is marketing to me and others to join him, based on that video I'd jam with him in his bedroom - but he hasn't exhibited any sense of stagecraft, he will get more opportunities in this industry if he works on that.

don't stress guys, I take the feedback onboard. To be honest, the footage you've seen was to an audience of about 3 people so it's not exactly a place to jump up and down like a mother f***** Razz

peace in the world,

Hello T,

Check out this rather poor quality video. It should tell you what you need to know though. I produce the backing tracks, and Andrew and I perform over the top of them. https://www.facebook.com/greyareacentral/videos/359288914796831/

At the moment we are a duo, looking for a lead guitarist, with backing vocals to make us a trio. We have gigs behind us and gigs in front of us.

If we had someone like you with us, we could do the hard-edged rock stuff that also has keyboards from the 80ties too, ie: Billy Idol, etc. I like the contrast that you get with cranked-up rock guitar with keyboards, so I'm interested to see how you might fit in with us.

I have also written some original stuff that I'd like to slot in with the covers.

If you think you might be interested, please get in touch.
