Wings-Burst-Out

I am a male singer/songwriter/guitarist in my thirties living in the inner north looking for female singer/songwriter/guitarist to form acoustic country/folk duo.
Having recently seen Suzannah Espie and Charles Jenkins performing together, and having been very impressed by how well they work together, I have decided that a side project along similar lines might be something
worth pursuing.
The intention is to knock a few new songs into shape, select some choice covers, and start to gig ASAP.
This will be be a side project for me, and will most likely be for you, so not asking for thrice weekly rehearsal commitments here, just a willingness to give it a go. If it works good, if not, no harm done.
Points of reference include, but should not be limited to:
The Darling Downs
Gram and Emmylou
Fairport Convention
Gillian Welsh
Lucinda Williams
At a stretch Dylan/Baez
Etc.
I would expect that the right person has the ability to harmonise, have at least some stage experience, possesses a strong, expressive voice and can write songs. Intermediate guitar skills (both flat pick) and fingerstyle would be an advantage. Definitely wanting two guitars involved.

I am not expecting perfection, just think the concept might be worth exploring. It is not about technical skills, but the ability to convey something honest.
The aim is to break some #%*¥+#% hearts, ideally. Think Teddy Thompsons rehersal version of Tonight Will Be Fine.
