jeez, i think that selection is very limited. what about funk? soul? jazz? but out of that list, probably the hard rock/metal one. just listen to any metallica pre-justice. cliff burton on bass, kirk delivering some of his best solo's, and lars's drumming spot on. you'd have to be pretty talented to nail a metallica song from this era, as well as metal in general from this era.

Hard Rock/Heavy/Black/Death. Most ability and speed and raw talent out of all in my opinion. Athought people wil vote for their 'favourite' type of music, rather that the musical effort in this thread I reckon, same as the best singers one.

I believe the poll says the most talented style.

Not the most popular.

If you are talking about talent, then there is no contest.

CLASSICAL. The muscians are actually trained (unlike most of us).

The operatic singers are incredible.

dude, i can see that. but i was merely stating that metallica, as a group, were terrific pioneers of metal. i know there are better drummers than lars, but i was just using them as an example.

you guys must have had very VERY limitted listening experiences to even consider for a second that metallica (or any other generic metal band)might be an example of the most talented style of music.

I'd say jazz requires the most talent.
