Hi guys,

I'm a guitarist in my mid 30's. Sick of jamming out in the garage all alone. My amp is way too loud for the metronome on my iPhone. Need a drummer to come around and jam.

I have very good and loud tube amplification. A dodgy old garage that we can jam in. There's even a rough old drum kit out there if you want to set it up. I have been playing a long time, so I really need someone intermediate and above.

I don't care if you just want to jam on a Saturday for purely pleasure with no intentions of getting anywhere with it. We can just use each other for practise, better than a computer. Or you want to start a band and take over the world. I'm here and I need a rhythm man.

My big stylistic influencers are probably

60''s Beatles
70's rock like Cheap Trick, AC/DC, Scorpions, etc (basically crunchy guitars)
80's All the usual suspects Van Halen, Dokken, Metallic, Tesla, and on and on.
90's Pumpkins, Pantera, Faith No More (actually 80's FNM really).
Shredders - Yngwie, Gilbert and Macalpine.
Plus a bit of Jazz Fusion and country chicken pickin.
Then a whole heap of quality pop like Todd Rundgren, Robert Palmer, Tears for Fears, etc.
Then a bit of black metal as a cherry on top.

I really love all music but the above is probably a decent indication in case you come hear expecting a blues purist or a jazz guy or a shoe gazer or something.

Like I said I'm just sick of practising out there on my lonesome and would live to jam with anyone really. Please don't be shy.

Cmon guys. I wanna jam. 4/4 like Phil Rudd? Let’s jam. Don’t need the best in the world to jam with. If you are that’d definitely be cool too. Best news is it’s free!
