the only thing you needa do is find the groove. Once you found it, you can make a solo out of a single note if you wanted. You just gotta carefully listen to the music, and let it guide your fingers.

The skill of listening is for sure the greatest tool for lead guitarists. It's what separates your average blues lick player, from the soulful kings of the instrument. It's so simple, yet so powerful. If you are serious about playing, for the love of God, master the skill of listening to the music you're actually soloing over.
