|Thank you all - This position has now been filled
This is the opportunity you've been looking for folks.
We are an established cover band, averaging 2-3 gigs per month and are looking for a new rhythm guitarist (who may or may not want to throw a bit of a lead break occasionally).
We are playing Top 10 70's & 80's stuff: If you listen to Gold FM, that's as close to our playlist as you'll get, however we play the trickier songs that other bands are afraid of. Crowds love it.
I should note that we are doing this for the love of it: Money goes back into the band fund to go towards PA upgrades, rehearsals & lights. Do occasionally throw some of the cash around so we can buy some cheap food but we're not giving up the day job.
Band is a 6 piece with Keyboards and we like the fuller sound of two guitars.
Vocals are a huge plus but not a deal breaker.
We're based in Eastern Suburbs and usually rehearse once a month (current line up has been together for some time) but may go weekly to initiate new member.
I'm hopefully looking for Video and Sound files to have a listen first and then you'll be selected for the *gruelling* interview process.
I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org for all questions and more details.
Look forward to hearing from you.
