Hi all, hoping this forum can collectively advise me on saving some coin, heart break and offer some great insight advice!!

I hope to begin doing some professional looking guitar covers on Youtube soon; i will be using a PC rather than a Mac (despite some ppl already telling me that a Mac is generally a better for audio/video editing), and plan on buying a FocusRite Scarlett Solo USB Audio Interface.

I seek assistance and advice on what DAW programs I should use; their pros & cons, and whether its better to record with a microphone or use amp simulated software such as Amplitube? Are there any better or user friendly programs than Amplitube?

Any other tips, experiences and suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks guys and gals
