I have personally constructed over 5000 of these over the past 3 years, with only one report of a fault and this was an issue with one (1) incorrectly machined jack by my supplier. In that case a replacement was sent immediately.
I have also had a customer drop a practice amp (15W or something) from a shelf with one of these connected and the amp just hung on the cable and was still fully functional years after. All cables I send out are tested multiple times for continuity and any physical defects. If I doubt them in the slightest, I will not send them out. Soldering and screwed down back-plates provide a lot of strength.
I have had a few customers switch from brand X,Y,Z to mine due to the cost vs performance aspect of my cables, others have stuck with the larger brands due to personal preference etc.
