Hi Justdrums,

We are a duo of piano and bass - we play a classically influenced breed of grunge but we skim a few genres. All the tracks and lyrics are mostly written by the pianist. We are located in the Inner North - I am in Brunswick West and he is in Thornbury.

We are looking for someone who is competent and does not mind playing music written by somebody else. We are not jammers nor do we just 'play'. The music is precise and comprehensively written - we do want someone who is willing to contribute creatively. But - mostly - it will boil down to playing the music as it is written.

We are currently in the midst of recording. We are looking for someone who is keen on making a time and financial commitment to the project.

We have the following influences - but not limited to:
Faith No More
Dresden Dolls
Tori Amos
Some Ben Folds stuff
Nirvana
Tomahawk

Here are a few samples to see if they tickle your fancy:

01 Track 1 (2).mp3

Please note the tracks are not mixed or mastered - these are just raw inputs w/ volume levels adjusted and some preliminary compression and EQ's. I would love to hear back from you.

Please email me at:
samafro88@gmail.com

Thanks,

Zeng
